Texas Mile: March 2010

Yah - "I don't plan on wrecking" ranks right up there with "Hold my beer - watch this!". No one plans on wrecking and even if YOU have safe habits it only takes ONE moron to ruin your day and I'm proof positive of that. If I could redo that day I would in so many ways, it's the worst feeling in the world to have something taken and be helpless to stop it.
Even on a closed course stuff happens. There's more than one vid of brake failure, suspension failure, and heck at least one of us has hit a groundhog at HIGH speed at the race track. Heck, the sunroofs coming in on folks at the last Mile event had to be a huge surprise for at least one person. You just never know....

That thread has now included just about everyone, so I would say it is 'whole-assed"...

Not that is matters for you, that GT is 2' tall. BTW, does it have an integrated roll cage?

No integrated roll cage but it does have a exception at the Texas Mile so no roll cage needed.

They deemed the car tough enough to withstand a roll over. I bet the firewall behind the seats helped in that decision.

Correction. It is because Chuck Norris builds the Ford GT.
