I used to have a polar silver 996 TT as well as an arctic silver 996 carrera. I've seen and taken a lot of pictures of both colours in different lighting. To me the picture looks like polar silver. Imo the best looking colour for the 993/996 generations.

Looks like polar silver to me...and my car is polar.

You can see in this pic it can look very silver in certain areas (like the back of the mirror) in certain light. Arctic silver never looks bluish to me in any light like the first picture of the mirror the op posted.

 

The paint code should be on the build/option sticker under the front bonnet. If I am not mistaken (I'm not looking at my car right now) the paint code is in large print.
