You can sometimes find them on e-bay and here in the parts classifieds...

Doubt anyone has Indiana - anyone from Indiana sucks... - Just kidding - I grew up in Indiana! What part are you from? I grew up in Mitchell and lived in the burbs on Indy for a few years...

Wait, why? Why do you want an old data disc???

The newer data discs are compatible with older systems- to a point. What you want (I would think) is the newest disc for your system. I actually think the new 2008 update may work.

Depends on the year of his nav unit - look like he has a 2001 car, so that would be the old CD-ROM discs, and the newer discs do not work in them. I have the old Nav in mine, but plan on scrapping it for an aftermarket unit when that time comes.

If you can find them, maybe. Legally, no way. Plus the maps are almost 10 years old - so not all road, etc. Best to just go aftermarket....

i am from the middlebury area. up north .. i called the fort wayne dealer. they dont carry old discs. they gave me the the manufacture of the discs number and they dont support that older yr any more. i have tried an 02 set but it did not boot up. i know my system works because i have a south east disc and everything seams to be working fine and it asking me for another disc for my location that i am in. i have been scaning on ebay for 01 generation but have not seen one yet. it seema like they should be available.

I believe that only 2001 used the older disks. I had the same problem and the only was i was able to get a disk was to ask on all the forums and someone happened to have the one i was looking for sitting around. You need the 2001.1 disk, but I am not certain which disk it is. If you keep an eye on ebay, they will pop up every once in a while, but they are very expensive. Navteq had a full set you could buy last year when i was looking and i think it was about $300. When i first contacted them, they said they didn't have it, and the second time I contacted them, they had it...go figure.
