Gemballa or TechArt Conversion to GT2
#32
As good as the GT2 does look istock it is still stock appearance. I would want to be seperated from the bunch and look a little different. You could argue that TA is almost common nowadays but that's not exactly true. On this board many people have it but in the real world not that many do.

Oh well, I guess there is no accounting for taste on this board. To me it's like putting A1 steak sauce on seared japanese Kobe beef.
There are certain things one should not do to **** UP something perfect. One of those things is make it look like a vampire or a Honda Civic.
A GT2 is derived from the principle that form follows function, not the other way around. It's too bad most people here don't seem to get that concept. Oh well.

I think they both look great, imo the TechArt kit looks a little more aggressive and unique. Of course like most aftermarket looks, after a few years it gets old and dated and stock starts looking more classic and correct for the car.

The old turbo fronts are much better as classics.

Hamann, if you had a Turbo and wanted to change the body style would you go with TechArt or GT2 kit?

I don't get it. Maybe I don't have the bug like many of you. I drove the GT2 and the rear end just kept breaking loose. So I bought the Turbo. I took the Turbo to Watkins Glen and Lime Rock to play. Now I wish I had the GT2.
I agree with those that say the GT2 is great the way it is. I don't see too many folks doing a lot of mods to their 360s. With a chip I think that my heart would be content with the GT2. It is stiff, has awesome brakes, and sits just right.
My $.02.

PS-I already gave my opinion on this matter in the GT3/GT2 forum, do what you like and not for anyone else.
