Modded Cobra vs. CL65

 

The CL65 is a beast.

 

Saw one near my house a little while ago - really looked beautiful. I think my ideal garage would be a CL65 daily driver, a Cayenne, an F430, and a highly modified 996tt. Oh and a truck. And maybe a track car. As my girlfriend says, my startup better make some good money, or I'm screwed ha ha.

Benz is really going insane with their cars though - I bet the SL and CL 65 really surprise a fair amount of people who don't know their numbers.

 

In a straight line no doubt about it haha...I just dont feel the confidence in the feedback once you hit any fun corners

How can you say that its not a sports car its a seadan/coupe its not made to do any kind of tracking or sharp corners and it handles extremly well for its size and has a powerfull punch with ECU it can easily blow the doors off that Cobra in the video.

Very fine car.... Love it in Silver or midnight blue.

 

The mustang cobra won in the videos... wtf?

Here's a car that weighs 3000 lbs less, would be WASTED in a straight line race by the AMG but man does it sound and look like a blast - I might pick one up soon for the hills for when I'm not shuttling the family in the Turbo. are you surprised? a bolt on cobra runs low 11's @ over 125.

 

Not suprised the cl65 would have passed it up at higher speed anyway. Id like to see a RENNtech modifyed cl65 vs a bolt on kenne bell cobra.

Cobra are fast are no doubt but you cant compare a coupe of that size and weight to a small and nimble and highly powerfull car like the Cobra.
