I like the look better with the slats.... Also love the look of the 997 LED's added to the TA bumper.... can these be retrofitted to existing kits?

Get rid of the slats!! The bumper looks way too busy with the slats. Too much going on and breaks up the nice flow from the hood to the bumper.
Just my $0.02.
Edwin: Do you think the running lights be added to a stock bumper just above or below one of the slats? Can you build a one-off attachment adaptor for the stock bumber for this if the price is right?

i've been considering getting rid of the 996TT again but i love that photoshop of the 997 LEDs on the Techart bumper. that looks unbelievable. makes me want to keep the car longer and throw this bumper on it. i have always loved the slats on the TA bumper but it does look incredibly clean without them. i'd be interested to see how it looks on a shot of the entire car.
i don't think too many people would go for just the oval 997 headlight conversion because after seeing them on the actual 997 (especially the TT and GT3) the rest of the 996TT will look outdated.
i was strongly considering doing the 997 GT3 front conversion but having an updated front and the rest outdated is a bummer. i am one of the 996TT owners who don't really like the OEM lights too much so the 997 look is much nicer to me. do u guys have an entire conversion package (minus lights), GT Street preferably?

Everyone has their own opins and all that matters is what you like for your own cars.
But personally I've always thought the Techart front looked like a cow-catcher .
And....I recall when the early 996TT spy shots first came out, there was a fair amount of push back about the new busy front bumper....all the openings/holes. IMHO the Techart expands on that issue....but then again, maybe we've all warmed-up to this look on the TTs.
Also.....if your car is significantly dropped, I can't imagine the Techart helps your clearance issues up front. We all know the 996 'nose' is way out there even w/OE or C4 chin, and if you drop your car (I'm at 110mm up front) you already have a 'challenge'.....I would think the Techart pushes that nose out even further.
Again....just my $.02.

I am starting to believe he isn't keen on sharing his pictures. Regardless, we are in the process of making a mold out of this and hopefully will have it ready in a month or so
