Rear tires lasting 12-15K, I say you are ahead of the game and should not worry about squeezing another mile out of them.

You could also be running too much toe (another thing that aftermarket products can help fix). I hear that the Tarrett toe link kit with the optional "locking" mechanism is the best out there. You could simply be wearing out the outsides because the tires have too much toe in...

Aftermarket arms, links etc... tend to get knocked out of alignment very easily. i hear people talk about needing frequent alignments more often due to this. That's why I think the tarett locking kit is a good investment.

As for too much wear on the inside of the tread, have the alignment checked out. Perhaps the toe is off and causing excessive scrubbing.

If the toe is fine, then either get the car aligned to have less negative camber, or start taking corners faster so that the wear evens out across the tire.
If I recall, the older Michelin Pilot Sports were rotation specific, and the PS2s are inside/outside marked (but not rotation specific). Can anyone confirm?
