Is NSX more exotic than 996TT?

a friend of mine with too many toys has one of the zanardi editions (150 lb lighter among other things) and it really is a special car.zanardi edition

I don't know if it is more exotic. That's a pretty subjective opinion. But, I have always considered it one of the best looking sports cars ever created.
On the other hand, I've driven them on two occassions and really was not all that impressed with the car's performance. First I drove one at a DE where I was instructing. Handling was decent, but not spectacular. Top end was nice (not spectacular) and low end was almost nonexistent. I also drove one on the street once and the lack of low end torque made the drive fairly uninteresting. If only it had more power...

I agree, I love honda's high revving engines but they are just gutless, I drove around a buddies S2K for a little while and just can't stand not having some torque under me!

I had to pipe in because I owned a 1996 NSX-T and the reason and the only reason I sold it was because it did not have enough power and at the time was hard to modify. I purchased a 1997 993 turbo and then a 2002 996 turbo. As a owner of both vehicles I would never in a million years trade either of my Porsche's for the NSX.
Now the NSX is and was a nice car, just definately needs more power and definately needs updating. It is the same basic car since 1991. Also 290 hp is what 4 door sedans are putting out today! Get with the progam HONDA!

It looks like he didn't think too poorly about the NSX earlier. Notice where he says he regrets getting his 996 TT and wishes he bought the NSX instead.
He's been banned from NSX Prime for this type of thing.

Then NSX looks old and tired. The 996 looks new, breathtaking and exotic. The 911 has always taken my breath away ever since I was a child. I still get that way whenever I walk out to my garage and see my Porsche and I'm not young anymore.

Its been almost 2 weeks since I bought my 02' Porsche TT. I think I made a mistake. I think 02' NSX looks much better and more fun to drive. Also, I like people from NSX forums more. They're more mature and very helpful. Should I trade in my TT for 02' NSX and add a comptech supercharge? Or just wait till the new 400HP NSX version that coming out next year?
