My New CCFL Halo Headlights

My New CCFL Halo Headlights
I did not install them yet, but here are some photos of the headlights off the car. Some will hate it, others not so much.
I wanted to make the look as "factory" as possible and they will be used as my daytime running lights and then stay on when the headlights turn on.
I had to pay the shop extra for a mold to be made to produce the oval halo glass tube so as to fit the oval shape of the Porsche headlights as CCFL halos only come on round shapes and nothing is this big either.
It took six months but here is the finished product. Note that I also had the lights painted to match the car color. I think I am the first to do this on a 996TT. Like it or not, here it is.

I think that will look nice. I would probably only do the main headlight on mine if I were to do this mod. Don't wanna copy you haha..
Thanks for sharing. Look forward for final install pictures.

I guess I will be the first to say 'it's not my cup of tea'. The work is very clean though. I am sure you would find plenty of people who would love to add those to their cars. Good effort.
