"Carpet" in the car is a factory option that allowed the natural brown to be changed to blue....for a price.

The mats are track mats from Rennline.

Very nice seats. What is the weight savings you have gained?

Endless3 is infamous around these parts
With these nice bucket seats installed, will it be very difficult for passenger to get into the backseat? I assume these seats can only move from front to back/ back to front motion?

From standard turbo seats, a pair CF GT3 seats will save 50-55lbs. FRP seats are 1-2 lbs heavier per seat.

Our seats come with sliders which can be move forward and backward. Even with all the way forward, it will be difficult for full growth adult to get in. I will say children under 10 years old will be fine.

These are awesome looking seats. But I have a question..on the street are you better off with softer seats, tensioned seat belts and an airbag, to slowly take up the shock of a front or rear end hit, or are you better off with a very stiff seat and 4 or 6 point harness without ever hitting the airbag. I've heard the sudden forward impact in a car with competition seats and belts (but without a HANS system helmet) can do more damage (like snapping your neck of blowing out a major heart artery) than a stock street airbag system. Any thoughts from all of you other experienced crash test dummies.

I have a Schroth ASM system.....sort of the best of all worlds.....one belt gives so you get a pseudo 3 pt in a crash...airbag, etc.
