Vp ms109

Our prices for VP MS109:
5 gallon: $56.70
15 gallon:$170.20
30 gallon:$312.80
54 gallon:$552.70
Shipping for 1-2 5 gallon pails is usually $60. Shipping for 3 or more pails or any of the drums is typically $170.
In my experience, the 5 gallon pails tend to have the pop out necks get brittle and crack if used a lot, spoiling fuel, but most people use up the fuel before that becomes an issue.
If you do some quick math, it is easy to see just how much your delivered price per gallon goes down as you buy a higher quantity.
For those of you with space limitations, a 15 or 30 gallon drum may be the answer for you.
I can get any fuel or product from VP, so if you need something, just ask!
As for fuel life, yes, in a vented fuel cell, where the lighter entities of the hydrocarbon can easily evaporate, your effective octane will go down. if the drum is completely sealed, possible by simply tightening the main opening and the vent, fuel degradation is near zero, and can last a LONG time. Like I told Nick, get the fuel and get it shut! The more time you spend with the drum open, the more you put the fuel at risk of octane loss. Practice simple procedures with the fuel and it will last you as long as you need it.

I use VP 109 regularly on the track, not so much for the increase in performance it give, but to the safety factor……I feel much more confident putting the car under the stress of a track visit, knowing that I have 10+ extra Octane than the pump offers, to allow for a buffer for any potential engine stress.
The biggest issue with storing fuel (fear of it going off i.e. dropping octane etc.) has to with getting moisture in the fuel, which is absorbed readily from the atmosphere and this can happen in a few ways.
1. Not tightly sealing the drum properly after use or after filling smaller bottle for immediate use.
2. Storing the drum on the ground- straight on the concrete of your garage (it will absorb the moisture in the concrete) Pallet of wood or the like is the best way to prevent this.
3. Not storing it in the right location, somewhere cool and out of direct sunlight
This is a quote from a major fuel supplier here in OZ; “Frequent opening to atmosphere will degrade the overall octane levels due to its high oxygenation”.
I agree with UNVMY996, prche951 and MBailey.........
As for use as a track fuel, if you could empty a 200l drum inside 3 or 4 months, you would be hard-pressed to notice any real difference in performance. But, don't leave it for over 6 months without expecting some decrease in quality, but I bet you will not notice if there is, unless you are in F1 racing and a first name Michael.

In Oz we pay $1300 USD for a 58 gallon drum and for C16 we pay $10-12 per L, if I had your prices I would use it as a everyday fuel for my GT2.
and I have to pick it up with a 40min drive each way
Currently for a Litre of 98 Octane fuel at the pump we pay $1.22 USD, so if I am right and you buy in gallons it would cost $4.61 USD a gallon
Enough time here... need to go back to work........
Is the station on the way to the strip or the track that you use??

Lucky you!

Next time I'll order from you, since you're about $100 cheaper on the drum. How much for delivery to Redmond, WA?

Neil that is super cool.
You should get VP to update their list of dealers. I called them last fall directly, looking for any local supplier, and they did not list you.
Can I pickup at your shop to save the shipping? EDIT: just a couple of 5 gallons, not a 55 lol.

Super, checking on shipping, should be $170.
Tom, it still costs us money to get it shipped out here, since we do not have a warehouse for fuel, the only way to get a discount on shipping would be for us to get fuel everytime the VP truck came through town, and that is only a few times a year.
UPS ships the 5 gallon cans for about $60-$70 depending on where your at, if you are looking for a quote please e-mail me so I can hit you up direct.
Please note, prices subject to change.
Thanks Nick, I know you've been snowed in, but how much have you sipped out of your drum?
