Weld the glued in coolant fasteners that are known to pop out. I cannot easily describe where they are but John and others have had issues with them and if the engine is out weld those suckers in!

There was also another where the user posted a pic of both the weld in fitting that had failed AND the CNC fitting his indy used when welding in a fix posted recently. I'm still looking for that one for you!

Also consider replacing the coolant overflow tank while the motor is out. They crack with age and are a ***** to do with the motor in apparently. The aftermarket intake pipes John mentioned earlier are also a very good idea IMO.
