Your car is a mutant!! It runs far better than you would predict on level of mods...

Yeah it makes sense.

And those HRE C93's gotta be good for at least 7hp.

Back to the OP. Here is the run. 7.78 You need to start from 30 or so in 2nd. Starting from 55mph is not the best way to do this.
Try it from 30, and you'll gain .5 seconds.

-I still run-in clutch, have not tried full boost yet. I am happy with quick response. But is top end hp not up to par as quoted?
When i spoke not to many listened not to sound sarcastic but I knew the outcome. I had no financial interest in pushing certain products. Bottom line is that it takes a lot more then just turbos to run fast. I heard new technology all over this board last year as new tuner shops jumped ship from the import scene. Well sometimes a turbo on a misti Evo 8 or a supra does not work as well on a p car. I've seen new turbos on the market and they are nothing more then hta wheels. Wake up guys. You can put a hta wheel in a k24 housing and call it the next generation technology turbo combination. Run 1.7 bar on c16 and put down 700rwhp.
Guess what ? That's exactly what's being done.
Don't buy your next turbo on impulse or some dyno graph only. You will pay for it later.
Juts my sincere opinion.
Markski

First thing I noticed is Vince's tip shifts better than yours (especially 3-4)! Less abuse I guess!!

What would be required in order to break into the 5s?
And what trap speed would a setup like this run?

Perhaps better shifting skills?

My quarter mile speed at the TX Mile was 134mph. The best EVOMS GT700 traps were 138 and change.

Nope, at time I ordered A28 on Nov 09', Tialsport rec. A28s instead as it outflow their avialable 3071.
Between those two options you will want, presently the A28 will make more power and make it sooner than the standard 3071’s!
The A28 has been producing 630 wheel torque at 3500 RPM’s! there is little to no lag J

Wow, that must be a very well dialed in setup with many if not all supporting mods and hi octane gas?

Chris Cossey did 599 whp with the A28s and meth and straight pipes on EPL tune. Stock otherwise I believe.

Another response:
The A28 is ‘special’ where as the Alpha 3071 is a standard Garrett 3071. The A28 will come into boost sooner and make more power than the 3071R

Full boost on the A28 would be around 3500 RPM, the A3071 would be around 4000 and LOSE a lot of low and midrange torque

So I do not know what is the key missing here. We all know 3071 put impressive number and outfow K18g/k24. By the quote A28 should even better.

Near as I can tell, 18g's, injectors and meth with some minor weight loss runs 5's and low 130's traps......
