headlights sometimes not turning on

I have a 2002 tt, my headlights dont turn on sometimes. I have to turn the switch on and off few times then it will turn on. Do anybody know whats wrong? Is this a common problem ?

Headlight switch is faulty. Search will find you a DIY on replacement. It is common.

Same issue, xlr82xs nailed it....had this problem. New switch fixed things. The new unit plastic is just a teeny bit more shiny imho.

I had a simular problem but my ignition was bad you would have to giggle it to work. If the switch doesn't fix the issue you can look into that.

I hate the headlight problems, currently having to deal with mine turning off on the cayenne
