Dropping my car off at TPC Racing next week..
Right now, the only thing I really don't like about my setup is my inter-coolers. They're simply two pairs of stock GT2 ICs welded together.
According to Todd K. at Proto, they actually flow quite well, but they are definitely outdated compared to the new designs that have recently been produced for our cars.
TPC racing just released a new design of IC called Blitzkrieg 127mm inter-coolers. Since TPC is only 4 hours away from me and because Todd K. highly recommended them, I gave them a call.
Our plan is pretty simple. They're going to baseline dyno the car, and then replace my current ICs with a set of their new Blitzkriegs. Once installed, they'll put it on the dyno and along with Todd K., will retune it.
What I'm looking for is the maximum amount of power I can make on 93 octane and 100 octane. Both of which I can get directly from the pump in my area. I also want to see how much power we can make using MS109 (105 octane) at the 1.6 to 1.7'ish BAR level.
For comparison, the car previously made 719 rwhp at 1.5 BAR on Sunoco 104 with the current setup.
Anyway, I'll give you guys updates as required. I'm also looking at hitting the drag strip on 19 March.

The cores in Todd's new 5" ICs are actually provided by TPC. They are essentially the same IC, but with a slightly different end-tank design.
TPC will do the hardware install and dynoing, and Todd will do the tuning. He actually recommended that I use them and thier ICs instead of shipping my car down to his place. He said they provide the most detailed feedback he's ever received when doing remote tuning.
Add all of that to the fact that they are within driving distance of me, and it makes a win-win for all of us (me, Todd, and TPC).

Interested to know how much improvement you get from these ICs!! Hope you can post detailed before and after data!

Scott, TPC is a class organization and they are just a 45 minute ride for me. You are in good hands. Mike, Tom, Casey and the crew are great guys who take pride in their work. I'll be up to see them this spring for some modifications. Keep us posted.

I've been communicating with Mike and Casey over the last couple of weeks. They seem like really great guys, and I'm looking forward to working with them. They also come highly recommended from my tuner of the last 5 years, which means a lot.
I'll let you know how things turn out.

I only wish I knew how much more power my current IC setup makes compared to the stock IC setup.

Wouldn't be too hard to slap a set on and make a few pulls...you know..for the benefit of the community.
