Lasing from above and behind (on an overpass) onto unsuspecting motorists and then speeding down the on ramp or radio ahead to alert the arresting officer . . . that is what is going on in Charlotte. Not only do you never see them, the radar just flickers off the scattered narrow beam. Talk about stealth tactics. It is like shooting fish in a barrel. Besides, no one ever drives the speed limit on freeways around the city. If you did, you would be seriously rear ended.

I thougt Montana had areas with no speed limit, but spoke with someone there the other day and they said they got rid of that. Not that I live or drive there but I used to dream........

What is the highest legal speed limit in the US and where is it?
