this thread is very helpful my 03 996 tt will be under the knife in a week or so for a pair of Precision dual BB 5558s, triple disc ERP, and Pro Efi ECM for flex fuel. I'll post photos of the fuel support system my tuner selects our goal is 750 awhp stock motor or with rods if we decided beyond 800. Thank you folks.

I'm sorry, but we never went any further with this system R&D other than what was posted.
We are working with the 997 Turbo now. The stock pumps on the 997 as mentioned have been good for 800 whp with simply an injector upgrade on our test car.

Is the 997 fuel pump a straight drop in? I would much rather do this rather than go with a supplemental pump. I haven't seen anyone do this on a 996.
I wonder if it has enough to support a 650WHP E85 tune

any updates on 997TT pumps being used in 996?
Also, being as a GT2 has a different fuel tank, can the same pump be used(dimensions?), or would a '7 GT2/GT2RS pump be advised...
Cheers,

I needed an additional pump,, used a 044, with my 72 injectors and stock FPR when I hit 545 AWD on a Mustang dyno / 595 on a DynoJet rear wheel.

Thank you for posting some quantitative data, as Sambo TT, it is more or less in-line with what we see on our Mustang power-wise.
Hi austin can you post more information on wicked motorsport's twin solution?

i dont see why the basket and the jet pumps wouldnt drop in physically. the 997 doesnt have both pumps running at the same time, it turns the second pump on and always runs the 1st one which also fills the basket thru the jet pump.
