More Big Game Hunting In Goliad?

Under ideal circumstance, yes, a 5.2-5.3 is not out of the question. Car is a LOT faster now than when I ran a 5.79.
Of course conditions won't be ideal at Sealy, they never are. That is why I am hoping for some other fast Porsches to bet there so that I can compare.

Sean, you NEVER know! One of these days, we WILL have PERFECT conditions at Lonestar. 65 degree air temp, 85-90 degree track temp, 10 mph tail wind. How does that sound? I'll try to order it up...
I do think you have the right idea...compare cars at the same track, on the same day, in the same conditions. We'll see who comes out.

Looking forward to seeing the whole gang again. I may rough it and camp at the strip this time as its going to be a very very last minute decision for me. My work schedule is changing more frequently than Obamas political agenda.

Joe that was no shot at your car trust me. Just had to give some of the newbies a heads up on which camp I'll be at. I have nothing but respect for you and the car. Wish you had the car down here so you could run a certain some one I wish when I build the motor I could run your numbers! I'd be happy with 225mph and I'd do backflips literly.
For the strip I ended up not going with Bogarts because I was going to have to drive the car to the track usually because I can't con my brother and father into splitting a nice enclosed trailer between the 3 of us. My new rims/tires SHOULD be here by Friday. Have to go RWD now because I'm going to run a 27" tire in the back since I'm winging the motor so high on stock valvetrain (7800 RPM although I usually shift at 7500). I wanted to keep the revs down, plus I am going for some BIG mph when I build the motor. Wish it was going to MPH like yours will, but I can just hope to be some what close to yours.
Regardless stop by wherever you see the Budweiser Tent (We should have it again this year) and we'll have a beer. Same goes to Bryant, Kevin, Tom, etc.. As long as you all are all done driving your cars!
