just keep in mind that kenesis was bought out by lexani and that if you need a wheel repaired you may be out of luck depending if they're still making that particular style. also i had a set of kenesis k18r on a 993 that broke 5 spokes and multiple fastners all because i got a flat on a highway. i was less than impressed with their durability -- i believe their centers are cast but i may be wrong on this. buy hre c93 or bbs lm's i would say.

i would go ahead and get champion wheels and then get the RS171s over the RG5s!

RS171'a look the part, but Champion has a very low stock of wheels right now also in the brink od dissapearing, right?

I think the K18/K19 fits the 996 pretty well.

I had them on my E46:


Also had a set of the K28 on my E36:

K19's are such a great looking wheel..

i've got a set of 18" Porsche widebody fitment K28's if anyone wants to trade their K19's..
