Brockway shift light/ Alpine iDA X305 head unit
Efficient to do them together.
Relocated the Brockway to most top din for easy viewing.
This head unit doesn't have a CD player, just a control unit with USB/Mp3 capabilities and radio. There are other similar to it in the line that do have CD.
Allows a red color which matches some of the red lights in the c0ckpit. The LCD screen allows custom screen pages. Here's the link on how to do it. Porsche logo would be kind of cool.

Some pics of the shift light I rigged up out of scrap. Sort of ghetto but works for now; there's many ways to do this and wire could easily be hidden if the gauge cluster was removed. This location doesn't block any of the dash info and visible in periferal. the LED shift light is red, bright at night, but tolerable. If RPM parameters are not being displayed, the shift light function is off.

The photos are pretty self explainatory but happy to go into detail if requested.
couple shots of the head unit. The space below, will make a fibre glass storage comparment, where the USB wire connector will be located.
