Here's one I found - EVO700 I think 6.98s

 

The only reason why I ran in second was that I didn't want to thrash the gearbox. Just thought second would be a bit more gentle. However having said that, I did brake boost to nearly 4k (I have an upgraded stall limit with my custom TC) and boost was nearly 0.9 at launch. I was amazing at the time, but then there was only one gear change to 100 and two gear changes for the 1/4 mile.

That is why I was asking what others do, because I was surprised at the time from a second gear launch.

I will try a first gear start to see the times and if there is a difference.

 

Thanks for that. I presume from the drop in g that this is a manual because that is a long time to shift,but even then a quick time. My time from 60-100 was 3.12, so I must when I get a chance find time to do a 60-130.

Here is my 60-100 including a shift from 2nd to 3rd gear. Look at the difference in the shift time compared to the original image. I think my tip is shifting well.

 

With your mod list, I would thing you would be low 6's if not in the 5's. My best 60-100 is 2.61 (1 shift manual) with 18g's, injectors and meth injection. Don't you have 20g's? You're car must be stupid fast? I would like to upgrade to 20g's soon.

Yep I am running the 20s. But it is on a tiptronic, so maybe I am losing some power to the wheels compared with a manual - not sure.

I was expecting around 2.6 or so from 60-100 as well. I am running full weight as well, nothing removed etc. I am running pump fuel in the UK (99 so that is around 95US). Todd K has done the second map for me and that is improved the response as the car was running a little rich.

For that 2.6 that you done: -
1) Did you have PSM off?
2) What speed did you start at?
3) What fuel were you running?
4) What boost levels did you have on the 18g?

Like I said I have run the car at 70% boost of WG, so that would be around 1.36bar. Probably need to crank it up a bit, but might need better fuel.

vividracingtx had a Tip with 18g's and most of your mods and ran a best of 6.33, that's why I think you are underestimating your potential. And it sounds like you have a better tranny and converter than he did? I think you will do well...I think he started at 30mph, in 2nd, and let it shift by itself.
