Options for upgrading my K24/K26 Turbos

Options for upgrading my K24/K26 Turbos

So what are my options? i don't want to invest in a new set of turbos, i just want to send out my current K24/K26 and upgrade them. Just want to know the options that are available.

Looks like you've invested many $$ in upgrades from board sponsors. I would call them. They should take care of you.

Get rid of them and get K24/18g or Alpha A30's

Well if you have K24 housings then probably I would do the 20gs... port , polish and clip the turbine wheel... Bobby my friend did them long time ago and he ran high 130s in a 1/4 but at higher boost with a protomotive IC, Intake, fuel upgrade... but Im sure Tony can tune for it... it works well...
There are also 2 billet wheels that work really well....

if i do the 20gs conversion, other than my ECU tunning do i need to upgrade any of my other hardware parts that i allready have mentioned in my signature?

As long as you have enough fuel you will hit 650rwhp at 1.4 bar.
You need ICs...

Well there is the cheap way and the right way.... usually most do not do it the right way...
But I doubt you will get the 650rwhp due to your fuel limitation.... Tony can answer that.... but with dual pumps on 60 lbs with 3.8 bar FPR it carries it no problem... not sure how the 72s with one pump at 5 bar react... plus your maf has to hold it... I think its doable...

Mark,

You realize that depending on what k26 wheel is used... the 20g wheel may actually be smaller. Right?

The k2670 (the most common) is a 38+lb compressor(most say close to 40lb)... almost unnoticeably smaller then a 20g wheel.

In my opinion, not a big enough upgrade to warrant the swap.
