DR. J, If your pulling a car that made 732 why are you not in the 4's 60-130? Something must have went wrong there.
After hearing about all this street racing I wished I lived in TX. I use to do it all the time when I was younger, now maybe once a year...

I have not gotten a chance to do any 60-130's under ideal conditions. The 5.79 I ran was with my pre blow through intake/largerTB/5 inch IC and plenum set up.
It is getting warm here now so it probably won't be until November until I get a good time.

I'm pretty sure that dyno is a bit optimistic.

Luis, Henneseys Dyno has been considered a heartbreaker in the past. I'll let Peter chime in on that though we actually had a similar discussion on Friday.
#51
That has been my experience. Eric was running 1.55 bars when he made the 732.

What are you talking about. Get out there and get a time before it gets hot. It's going to be 44 degrees tomorrow morning. That's ideal.

Sean, this cracks me up. You ran a dedicated 5.99 and I ran a 6.34 60-130 (pulled from my 1/4 run Pbox data) this weekend on the same track you were on. It couldn't have been MORE PERFECT!! What are you waiting for, that 2.99% down slope?

My 4.89 was done on some low 50* weather so if you can get in the 40* you are more than prime to do it.
Though the track that day was 50-55* and you had a tailwind, you can't get any better conditions. It wasn't muggy or anything outside.

Damn Todd I even have to give you for that.

Dyno - the Hennessey dyno IS a heartbreaker...actually, it's one of the most realistic dyno's I've ever seen. It is NOT optimistic by any means...
Track Conditions - we had EPIC track conditions this weekend...58 degree air temp...72 degree track temp...NEGATIVE DA all day...and a 25+mph TAIL WIND. It will never get any better than that......

Todd,
The P box said 5.9 on my runs, so it must have been 5.89. In any case I will eventually get a good time. I have a tank full of pump, a speeding ticket, and a ton of other things on my plate right now. I especially need to lay low for a while until I make sure I have all the local police back on my side again before I do any kind of Mexican runs.
I want to get a better boost gauge, install my Brockway (which I should have any day now) and turn up my boost.
