Ohio GT2 vs Dr_jitsu!!!

I was getting a cross wind on my 3 runs Peter....I looked at the flag right before I took off. You are right, however, there were plenty of times when we had a tail wind, I just didn't catch one.

I guess that means that Protomotive's Dynapack is much more conservative than everyone thought. Eric's car made 715 on that dyno with the exact same setup plus the air filters and rear bumper cover were removed.
That's really good info. Thanks, Peter.

Yes, I've NEVER had anyone tell me that the Hennessey dyno read optimisticly. If anything, I've had complaints that it reads low. I think part of the problem is that we are at sea level and don't have those CRAZY SAE correction factors applied to our SAE numbers. Typically, the cf is 0.99-1.01 on our dyno days... I'm not sure how much boost Eric ran at the Proto dyno vs. here in Houston but I can tell you his car sounded pissed!

I heard it from John himself as well as several other who had dynoed recently on other dynos. Definitely interesting.

Interesting, of the 50 or so racers I spoke to, NOT ONE mentioned a cross wind. I counted 47 personal best's (either et or MPH) b/c of the tail wind that day (and the negative DA). Sounds like the dyno and the track had it out for you only!

Well I guess then Peter, the bottom line is that I had the fastest 60-130 of any P car (Todd being .4-5 slower than me) on that day.
The hennesy dyno reads about 10 lower than most.

I would hope so with all that extra money you have in the car!! As for the dyno reading 10 lower maybe 10% which would make it a variable figure. Saying the dyno reads 10 low for your car and 10 low for a 1000whp car would be a little bit of a stretch, no?

+Rep for Peter for putting this event together. I think everyone should give him a round of a plause for putting this thing together. Sometimes everyone forgets how difficult it is to manage all these events. Great job Peter Those pics thread you posted was nutts. I think I only went through 700 pics of total 2200 LOL. Those Supras were insane looking.

Tym ran the 4.25 like I said, cold pavement, curve, misting rain, but thats enough OT for this thread.
Great event Peter!

I was a few seconds from putting up my Vbox which I had with me just to see how much it was off when I ran the 1/4 mile.
Wasn't worth it though. I had multiple verified numbers so I have nothing to fear

Sean did any other Porsche cars run a 60-130 that day,or was it only you and Todd? Did Eric have a p-box in his car?
I think Todd's run was not a 60-130 run,but a 1/4 mile run,please correct me if I am wrong.
This is interesting stuff here. I am sorry I was not able to attend,Peter always puts on a first class show.

I know I can beat that, I'm going to try to get a time this weekend in Goliad.

I ran Sean at the original lower 1.4 setting due to fear that it may hit any boost cut Todd programmed with the colder temps. Remember, it's running an AEM Truboost, so I can't dial in exact boost targets - only duty cycle. I didn't think I needed to run any more boost than that to pull Sean. Obviously his car was running strong that night, but it was a VERY close race regardless. 1320 Video should have the in car done by July.
