This is 'Bruntingthorpe'
A privately owned former airbase.....
The track is just over 4.1 miles
The straight is exactly 2 miles long and is 60m wide
By comparison the Texas mile has a 1.5 mile straight and is also 60m wide
So, our facilities look to be better (not sure about surface traction, etc) and our weather would be better suited.......but we're a bunch of wimps and our cars are slow

very true. it would give the euro tuners an idea of where they stand with their cars.

As you can see, they have the facilities
......what they lack is the *****!
The track can be hired privately, so, I might just hire it out with a few friends and take it from there
