Traffic was ridiculous on the way home. I did however have the pleasure of driving along side Rob for a few miles. When he gets on the loud pedal that car absolutely dissapears!

Yeah I was wondering about the "slicks" that Marty posted. They're just a different brand of drag radial than many are used to seeing I suppose, but we would never run a slick tire on this car. No need for one! lol The car would be a lot more unstable, and that's not what you want on a short wheel base rear motor car. Riding on these tires at 25psi (same psi at the track) is a lot like riding on the 19's. (Doesn't swang the back all over when you hit it)

Powell,
Awesome job! Congratulations on your accomplishments this past weekend!
I'm so relieved to hear that your driveline is living on to fight another day too...it's proving to be a solid and powerful combination and I'm sure there is plenty more to come. Well done.

Powell
congrats on your times. i did love watching you run! that black p car is amazing, especially on the CCW drag pack!!!
I was the pewter Corvette convertible. the 10.5's i clicked off have been my best ever! I also got a 1.41 60' which is the best i have ever done as well.
i wish i could have stayed for the finals, but sadly, i needed to hit the road to drive back the 22hrs to MN.
Nice to see many of your cars in person. If we had more time, would have loved to stop and chat with ya'll....
Next yr or perhaps this Oct for the TX Mile!

Chris, very impressive beat down on the 996 Sunday!!! And congrats on the MPH record! You kept on flogging it like very few on here would ever do!
It's a real testament to BL's quality work and tuning.

Eric,
So how much are you loving that GT2 now! A three year old Proto kit turned up a bit really put the smack down on Sunday!
Now sell one of your Prowlers - you do realize they are never going to be a collector car don't you? - and call Tym or BL. You already arguably own the nicest and cleanest GT2 in the United States...and it is one check away from trapping 150+ all day long.
Great seeing you again. Good luck at the Mile!
