Clutch toast... going in for upgrades and mods.. what else should I do?
Clutch is finally slipping really bad to the point where it's time to change. I knew this day was coming...
Already have GT2 slave conversion parts and anxious to do that.
Going to get either ClutchMasters stage 3 or the beefier Sachs disc/PP to hold power and keep it DD'able (this is my only car for now). Already have LWFW installed too.
Also gonna get the EVOMS inlet piping since they just dropped their price by over 50%!
Funds are fairly limited at this time, but what else would you guys consider doing while the tranny is out and labor is already done?
Thanks.

I would do a LWFW if you think you can stand the noise.

I cant think of anything else that would be more convienient to do while the tranny is out. Save some extra $ to install those inlet pipes. They are a real PITA but worth it!!

That was going to be my suggestion... Good choice! I got mine for $500 used and about a year ago. Putting them on in the next few weeks....
I wonder how they were able to drop their price 50%? Was it manufacturing costs came down or they already made their initial investment thus anything above and beyond is gravy? Regardless... we will probably see more and more ppl using these pipes in the future due to the new lower price point.

And yes their R&D costs on this product was sunk and recouped many many moons ago... I cannot even imagine the margins they get on this product. But hey, good for them. They created a great part, sold it at a premium for awhile (rightfully so) and then dropped the price as they see competitors making prototypes. Kudos to EVOMS for that.

Missed this! Thanks for the offer Rich. I still wanna see your car soon, once mine is actually okay to drive more than a couple miles.
Got my sachs clutch and inlet pipes on order and the GT2 slave parts right here... and I finally got my new R compounds on OZ wheels to fit today with Enrique's 7mm spacers. This mess has got to come together at some point!
Let's do a drive soon!
