Good question. I can't explain it well, but I know that launching easy and slightly shorter shifts gives me better trap speeds in the quarter. I would guess this is the same theory, just for 1 mile. It is very strange but it seems to work for speed, not time.

I wonder if this was 1.55bar or is there more room left. Tell him to take off the rear wing it will go faster

From what he told me there were no change in boost the conditions just got a little better. As far as removing the rear wing we discussed it and both agreed it would be crazy. The car was a little darty up top anyway. In hindsight we should have took my decklid off and swapped!

Congrats again Eric. Glad I got to see it.

Thanks everyone. I ran it at the 1.55 bar we dyno'd it at not the 1.5 when we ran Jitsu.

I'm sure the wing is scrubbing off some speed but after watch Todd Z spin through the dirt in October I was not going to sacrifice safety for an extra couple of mph's.

The car wanders all over the track at the big end. I have to say the 206 run was the scariest ride of my life. The car was all over the place.

Eric, Good stuff it was nice hanging out. Your car is bad a$$. That tail wind can sometimes swap in a heart beat..
