it's kinda like stripes. some like it some don't. I think the contrast may be to much, but if you do it with black wheels and black roof, it may not be bad. Silver wheels won't look good however.

I the black on silver, but it is more contrast than many people like. The seal gray has a lot less contrast and does not look so bad.

Pics didn't come out real good. Not exactly black, but clear coat over carbon fiber.

I like it. I did not insert the like in my last sentence.

OP could try wrap on the hood and it is cheap and easy to remove if you don't like

I've thought about doing this with my seal grey as well. I like the curves of the hood as opposed to most stripes/hood lines which are typically blocky and at 90* angles.

Carbon fiber or matte/satin? Hmm.....
