With the new baby around the house, the car wasn't getting driven. Decided it was time to pass it along to someone who will get to put some miles on her.

When work slows down and the kid gets a few years older and I move out of a highrise into a house with a garage, I'm sure I'll start all over again with a 997tt.

I've had a real blast with you guys over the last few years. Thanks for the memories. I'll be lurking.

I was in the same boat 21 years ago and sold my 911S, which I really loved; waited 18 years before getting back into it. Hope you don't need to wait as long.

Big Bummer...but it sounds like u got your priorities straight...I dumped my first 944 Turbo when my first arrived...it was tough, but as you can see the hiatus didnt last long. Hope your hiatus is short and you have a child that loves Porsches!! (my 3 yr old cant get enough, much to his mother's dismay)

 

Ah that is always a sad day. I have gone thru fits of responsibility and done the same thing. Always ended up back in a 911 though. GL

My one year old son is mesmerized by the red brake calipers, of course the WORST thing he could try and grab on the car!

Bummer! I found a car seat to fit in the back! Also, my kids want to ride in my car more then any other. I get bummed when we can't take it cause we all won't fit.

gee wait i bought my 1st 930 (76) because it had jump seats for my then 5 year old daughter and 12 year old son.... we never took them both with us, in fact i think i never used the jumps at all.. soooooo don't go on over kill, just maybe you can keep the p car.....just get a beater for every day kid hauling

 

I already discussed it with the wife, the car is never leaving unless it's getting upgraded to a 997tt. She loves the car, drives it so we are all good.

I just sold my black 03 TT for way too low because I didnt have time to drive it... We work so we can get nice things to enjoy life. Hopefully, youll be back with something bigger and badder in the near future!

 

Sell the kid (you'll prolly get more money for him) and keep the car.
