I have the exhaust, they will only make the ecu !
You are from Germany what did you heard about skn ?
@ buzzm - I don't know about the difference of the fuel how the ecu from the us will work !

93Oktan US is 98 Euro Oktan and 91Oktan US is 95 Euro Oktan.......so you can go with the US Tuner and they have every special file you like for your application...
SKN is Chip Tuner but not a special Porsche Tuner ,

There are a good many members here from Europe and Germany... if SKN was a known tuner for the 996TT we would have heard of this.
Alex55- you are about the ONLY person who has posted the letters "SKN"

Is it possible with the k16 to achieve 520hp ? and the torque seems very high at 790Nm...

i would get a tune from protomotive eveoms , epl etc
Get a good tune from one of the best US tuners. European tuners don't even offer custom tuning via datalog....
And they want STUPID money for tuning packages.
I can't say the name of the company, but I asked for a "mid 500hp mod" cost to a very reputable Euro tuner......40.000 EUROS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For a couple of turbos, intercoolers, dv, exhaust, tune......
My friend, lets just e-mail some of the US tuners, discuss your needs with them, and you will be amazed.....
And remeber that with most of them, if you get a tune now, you will be able to get re-tunes later (for every other mod you will do to the car) for very very low prices.
I'm nearly in the same boat as you, and I'm only waiting to have enough money to get all the mods I want at once, but I have absolutely no doubt that I will be a super happy customer of an US tuner.

I will try this company if I don't like how the car runs then I will speak with some US tuners !

A tune is NOT just the numbers!!!!!!

To the OP person, I'd do the 5bar FPR just because. It's cheap and gives you more room to expand later. You may not want to now but once the mods start it's hard to stop. But No, IMO you don't need a 5bar FPR if all you do is a tune and exhaust.

Let me try one more time. The SKN numbers might be correct, but all you have to go on is a table posted on their web site. Here are some questions that you ought to have answers to before you proceed with SKN, or anyone else for that matter.
520 hp at what rpm? How smooth is the torque curve, and at what rpm does it hit 790 Nm? You want to have torque come on smoothly at fairly low rpm, then sit at the max value over a significant rpm range, then drop off smoothly at higher rpm. This has a tremendous effect on drivability. You have to see dyno curves to know. If the tuner is any good, they will have done them and should show them to you.
Where are they setting the rev limit and max boost pressure?
Is the ECU program general, or does it have to be "tweaked" if you add anything else, such as different intake? If it needs to be changed, is there a charge for that?
I understand that the cost is low. Sometimes you get what you pay for.
