Thanks maybe Tom of Rennsport can confirm. Tom it does not make sense to use a setup that is not progressive and depends on the shock. Can you please confirm. I found HR the best for the track at any speed... seems coilovers are street only with less performance when compared to a track Spring like HR. your thoughts?

That's correct. KW uses a progressive rate front spring with a 630lb linear spring in the rear on the 996 turbo application. Bilstein (I believe) uses fixed rate at all four corners.

Keep in mind, too, that KW I believe is the only company that uses a multi-million dollar 4-post chasis shaker rig to test and determine the optimal spring rates for each of their applications.

if you are planning on using pss9's read this thread and make sure you let your mechanic know that he must re-use these parts or you will have creaking and twanging in the front

Srock suspension isn't that good,i haven't change mine so far but i like it better KW.It is ease to tune because the **** are up and the Bilstein you have to lay on the floor to turn the ****.At the track the KW,IMO,is much better.

Depends on the condition of the OE mounts. A lot of our customers have re-used the stock ones since they were in good shape and have had no complaints. If your OE mounts are worn out, then you could got with an aftermarket set, but it's always hard to tell until you get in there and take a look.

I'm late to this thread, but nvno1, what settings did you settle on with the KWv3's out of curiosity which has achieved the (relatively) smoother street ride? Getting a set this week and just curious to get feedback

Will do. I'm putting on 19" rims and pilot sports at the same time, so going to have a couple variables going on, but will post back. Rgds
