The claims made in the ad are pretty ridiculous. Todd the owner of Protomotive would never fill someone with that much BS. The brakes look stock to me and the "high end" wheels don't appear to be anything special. Maybe its just the 1.2 megapixel camera that was used to take the pics.

Agreed. He probably is exaggerating a bit. But the Victor wheels are a very cheap wheel. About $350 each I think. I don't think its quite as humerous as OP intended. But buyers must always do due diligence!

Not debating that but I've never heard of the Protomotive GT700 package and I've been on this board for 6 years. Making claims without backing them up isn't really something I'd personally do either. As far as I'm concerned the top speed of my car is 200.9 because thats the fastest I've gone in it.

Although he sounds a bit arrogant, having sold several used Porsches, I have some empathy for his attitute. Everytime I put one for sale, I might have well taken out an ad saying "dial 911 free test drive". Every wanna be Porsche owner in the world showed up, most knowing zero about the car, just wanting to drive it. 90% of them were not serious buyers. Some could barely drive a manual gearbox. One moron ran every stop sign and red light he could find. If you want a free test drive, go to a dealer and put up with the full on sales pitch. My last one, I sold to a gentleman in Canada who never even came to see the car. I had a PPI done, fixed any recommended issues (tires, brakes, all new fluids) gave him full maintenance and modification records (which was easy as I was the original owner) and sent pics of the car through all its modificatons and about 50 current pics. He phoned the PPI dealer, several of my mechanics. He sent me a cashiers check and sent a transport 2 weeks later to pick up the car. This was actually a buyer I wanted to come and drive the car. This was the best used car experience I've ever had.
