Nice to see open minded folks here. Did anyone bother to read the reviews (Slashdot, Amazon, and elsewhere) or is it too tempting to resist slamming something sight unseen? Maybe the $15-20 is too expensive for the average 996T owner to justify spending before ridiculing the book here publicly. LOL

Incidentally, Grass Roots Motorsports just did a write up in this month's issue:

Of course, rumor has it that they, like everyone the others, are ricers and don't know any better.

Apparently It is not for ricers only.

I have heard from buyers that it describes standalone systems in detail as well as other performance products....not something like "2 tier or 3 tier wing and their downforce"

I hear that it has a lot of non-ricer info, e.g., cross drilled brakes, how to tune suspension, ECU mods, etc. Basic stuff that people should understand before they tweak their $100k cars.

Also heard that the author is a wise man.

Ummm...Yeah. You didn't notice the signature? An attorney who spent 6 months writing a car book? Joined here and did one post to promote the book. This is what I would consider the need for a "mod"erator. LOL.
