Cheers..

Depends an what size injectors. I have been running 58lb injectors and a 5bar for a very long time now.

Yes.. That combo sounds good.. Because I am going 72 lb, I have been advised I don't need the 5 Bar as well..

I believe a recent conversation I had with Tony had him telling me he is now doing/recommending both the 72#ers and the 5 bar together with alpha 28 turbos and similar.

How many people are actually running just a 5 BAR with their K24/18g setup and tracking the car regularly? Dave at EPL told me that they would max out around 500 whp which is probably fine, but is it safe?

Technically... you need injectors with stock turbos if you push them hard enough.

Its just hard to sell a customer on something like that when others in the industry have been saying otherwise for a very long time...

Is the design of these turbos going to be similar to the Billet 16's where they will only realy start to shine when running higher than what most would class as normal boost 1.3+ bar.

I think that bigger injectors just work better with the 5bar because it should help with good atomization and spray pattern due to the increased fuel pressure.
Maybe I'm wrong.

Correct, but 3.8 bar is a fairly high start pressure.

We've used the 72lb injectors with both the 3.8 and 5 bars. In most cases the 3.8 is all you need.
