MY new brake rotors...

Before the "POO" storm starts... I am NOT in the brake component business. I do not sell components for any vehicle on the roads or tracks worldwide. I am passing on information to those who wish ONLY to avoid the Porsche Tax associated with track proven brake rotors. THESE rotors are track tested and proven by yours truly, but otherwise, I have nothing to gain, other than helping my fellow 996TT owners out...

So I wanted to stop in and share my brake rotor pics...

The old rotor is on the left and the new is on the right... My "source" was able to duplicate perfectly the exact setup I have:

Notice the heatchecks/flaking on these rotors. Even with 28 track days and 12K miles they're still in "spec" for use, according to the folks that make them (you know the company I can't post here):

So for about the cost of a pair of "friction rings" for your girodisc or Brembo setup, My "source" provided TWO sets.

PM me for source information for these rotors, along with exact price per friction ring. My setup is 350MM, but my "SOURCE" will make them for ANY size you require.

And to the Admins, I believe I've followed your rules... But hey I thought so before and we know where that got me...

Figured I'd "Share" the products that forced me to hang up my 6speeds "webtime" and move onto greener pastures...I'll go back to troll mode now and wait for this one to get locked... Or not...

Mike

busterhax is infamous around these parts
Sorry for the bump.
Seems I can't message him, but is anyone able to forward any information on 933tt friction rings? My BMW BBK uses them and if I can get away with buying just the rings, I'd much rather do that than disassemble new 933tt rotors.

Thanks

Please let me know what you find, I have a friend with the same 993tt front setup on his Cayman S, and is having a hard time finding a good replacement. Thanks.
