Took my 03' TT in to Hendrick Porsche here in Charlotte tonight for EVO Stage 2 upgrade and a few very minor warranty issues. I had called ahead to reserve a loaner.

Drove away in an 04' Cayenne with 1200 miles. Typical of them.

Usually A6, Boxter S once, BMW 745 w/100,000 miles once, Taurus once. Brand New Cayenne S once (I bought it). Needless to say, I won't take anymore new loaners !

I used to get Boxster's or Cayenne's at my Pcar dealer...once got a Boxster S at initial delivery and once got a Cayenne Turbo...At the Benz dealer I get C 230 Kompressors or ML350's.

Your Ford dealer gives you a loaner? I never even thought to ask mine, but I guess I will now. It's only about 2 or 3 miles from my house, but it sure would be a lot more convenient as a "shuttle".
They are only supposed to give the people who own a svt vehicle free loaners, but I am sure they would hook you up if you ask. They also have to wash and wax my car if I ask, too. We are the "cream of the ford crop" lol.

The most unusual loaner I've ever recevied was when I took my '95 M3 to John Roberts BMW in Dallas. They gave me an old delivery van with no side windows. Even worse, it was very much in need of an alignment. On the other end of the scale, Classic BMW once gave me a brand new 740iL when I took my 1988 M3 to them.

I wonder why? My F150 cost as much or more than their top of the line SVT vehicle. I'm gonna ask next time anyway now that I know they know what a loaner is :-)
