Thx everyone for the comments. Living with it, it's just so nice in white, a lot more visible (good and bad) than silver. Just organized tires/wheels during lunch today so rolling out on the OEM GT2 wheels now (in pic). The black CCW are wrapped with some fresh new rubber (thx City Tire Online) and will be mounted back onto the car later during this upcoming Redline Time Attack weekend.

Nick-NY: They will wrap as far as you want them to - if need be in the door jambs etc they lift the sill emblem stuff, ease out the rubber seals, etc etc. In this case, they got a bit hurried for the weekend so some parts of the job will be completed/done again at a later stage.

We overwrap about 30 cars a month (for advertising purposes, the cars are our own) and the wrap really protects the paint against rocks chips, parking lot scrubs etc. If done properly it's really impossible to tell if it's paint or overwrapped. Special materials can easily be used to give the car more shiny look, pearlecent effect and so on. If properly treated, the overwrap lasts for years.

Laminating/lacquering the overwrap.

Thanks for chiming in on the info about durability, finish etc. Mine is semi-gloss, which fits pretty good imo. The material seems very strong and haven't chipped during the whole drive to Vegas, two days hardcore tracking/racing and driving back again. Very happy to protect the original paint.

Wiped it clean between most track runs and then looking clean rolled down the Strip on Saturday night after posting fastest RWD Mod class time in practice. (Sun took Pole Position and in the Time Attack sessions drove home Position 1).

I can tell you that the car gets about 90 times more attention in white than silver, tons of cameras came out during the drive to Vegas (never seen it happen during 12 months of silver car), ppl stop at the sidewalk on the Strip waving, taking pics etc. I never really cared before because I have never noticed, peoples reactions are just so notorious now - and since I love it in white, I can only agree with their "cheering on".

Next on the job list is turbo upgrades to start killing off the Mod AWD cars as well.

Here a few more pics a promised. An additional pro photo treat will be coming in a day or two - the win, or the color, or both, caught some pro photographer and female attention to the car.
