Turbo Fire Update

Chubb might not be a great as you think. I have them and had to fight them "tooth and nail " to get them to write off my car. The process took over 4 months; their claims personnel were arrogant, rude and dishonest.
It was only when I returned their "forced" settlement check that things began to move, and I had pointed out that their series of demonstrated actions was tantamount to "bad faith" did they put forward a satisfactory settlement offer.
I'm not a lawyer, but when you can prove bad faith, it opens the possibility for punititive damages..which can carry a large potential liability.
Most laywers won't touch a $50K loss claim, it's not worth their time...unless there is a reasonable possibility of said "punative damages recovery".. then things get interesting.
