I have to say Stephen at Imagine Auto. I am not the most knowladgable guy in the "tuner world", but all my experiences have been positive!! He is a great guy, runs a great company, and sells a great comapany...
An example of this...
I ask how the side intakes are removed....instead of just explaining it, he goes out and takes step by step pictures of him taking it out of his own personal car(this is at 12AM my time I think maybe 10PM his time).
It is customer service like this that really sets the tuners apart in my mind.
My $0.02,
Evan
PS-I have Imagine Auto Stage 2 in case you didnt' know (will have a sig again soon)

Hamann,

I'll have to agree with you on that one. When I started back in the middle of 2001, I was not satisfied with what was offered by any of the tuners. Trial and error is real costly.

IMO a lot of the German tuners overcharge for what they do!!
Before I knew about the US tuners, I shopped aroundthe German ones and they all wnated to sell me a full kit including new turbos even though I said I want the kit with no turbos as I just got screwed (pardon my French) out of 18K for the X50!! A lot of them are not willing to split up the kits or let you buy one thing at a time and at your own pace if (spending 20-30K for a full engine kit in one go is not easy for everyone!!) Nice thing about the US tuners and GIAC is you can upgrade slowly...level 1, buy an exhaust then do 2, get new turbos then do 3, get some headers and go for 4, etc... The German tuners charge a lot for the brand name than the actual product (compare to designer clothes!!).
In addition, a little FYI to all, but all of the Techart engine tuning kits 600 HP and above (they have 2 kits) require changing the TT into Rear wheel drive!!!
