What do they say? ...a watched pot never boils...
A watched UPS truck never comes.
I have a good feeling that this could be the "Mod of Mods" for me as forever every car I've ever driven had a steering wheel that is waaay too skinny for my hands. I really wasn't shopping for a wheel, but when I saw the pics and feedback others had, I had to take the plunge.
... I think I hear a truck ?
false alarm...

Just put my new wheel, recovered by AGLA ....found him on ebay. He did a gray alcantara with padding over my wood/leather wheel which i couldnt stand. The alcantara was a perfect match for the headliner. It was a decent job but the stitching isnt perfect. Cost around 500 so on the cheaper side, u get what you pay for. Still a vast improvement for bigger hands, feel is awesome. Took 8 weeks.

I actually pulled my stock steering wheel off in anticipation.
Last time I was this impatient was when I was waiting for my Boss Hoss chrome Hotwheel when I joined the Mattel Hotwheels club in the 60's... Took what seemed like forever for that toy car and membership pin to show up....

I prefer the "Italian" treatment....
No hurry... JUST FREAKING EXCITED !!!
Oh, and MadNess... I believe the wheel IS a bit smaller. I'll give dimensions and pics sometime soon.

Don't feel bad. I ordered a pedal shift steering wheel for my Tip; it required to be custom (color) made (12 weeks)... waited 12 weeks... contacted the vendor and they said they hadn't started making it yet since they have two natural brown leather (waited 12 weeks for nothing)... the vendor sent me a swatch of one and didn't match at all... waiting for the second color but that was 5 months ago... I'm kind of given that up.
btw, I didn't order from Vivid

Wow, very sad. Summer would be over here as we only have a 5-6 month window to use the cars without salt.
Ugh. Who was the vendor or do you wish not to say ?

Thanks! Wish not to say. Enjoy your car while you can! Hope you get your wheel soon.

I have a 340 mm steering wheel. Not only does it feel better, the smaller diameter requires slightly more effort since there is less leverage.
It improves steering feel / effort in a very good way. It's a great mod!

not sure how the steering rack on this car is attached and accessibility, but rack bushings may help if oem ones are soft.
great, thank you.
