Thanks for all the replies. I was kinda feeling scared of this deal after he told me that. So I straight told him there is no way this deal is going though before I see the car. He was pretty understanding and admitted the reason he wanted it done was cuz he was going on vacation when I was planning on coming in.

They are doing an extensive look at the tranny on monday to make sure there is no issue with the 2nd gear pop.

 

Hopefully it's not the dealership doing the "extensive" look.

 

Nope, its the same shop that did the PPI.

 

Something doesn't smell right about that deal, I'd keep looking.

 

Get the PPI, fix what needs fixed and enjoy the car. They are really well built and you should be able to enjoy it for years to come.
