PPI done, do I fix the findings?

I got the results back from the inspection of a 2002 911 Turbo Im thinking of purchasing. The car has 26k miles on it and I was thinking of fixing all the problems right away. Also should I ask the dealer to help pay for them or is it my responsibility (I have not purchased the car yet, but have put down a deposit to get it off the market)?

Rear Deck lid actuator switch - $105
Seat Switch **** missing - N/A
Rocker panel trim damaged - $176 part and $70 labor
Clutch accumulator - $210 labor, $152 part, $52 fluid
Major maintenance (30k) - $1470

Any advise/suggestions is appreciated

Why not, not sure if they will do the 30k service, but

I would try to get as much as possible taken care of. They may not fix the rocker panel if it's cosmetic.

Those are all pretty minor items. If the price is right, I wouldn't let any of those stop the purchase.

It is definitely wise to have the required maintenance items done before you take delivery of the car. That is -ask the dealer to take care of as much as you can negotiate. Keep in mind that labor costs are usually more than parts costs. Even if this affects the purchase price, it will cost you a lot less that way. After delivery, you might have to pay full retail price. Otherwise, enjoy your new car.

Doesn't seem like anything that needs to be done immediately, but I would certainly ask them to handle the top 4 items just to get a little more off the price. The maintenance you can do a lot of in your garage.

Do the accumulator yourself. It's tight, but easy.

Seems like you really like the car if you were willing to put a deposit down on it to get it off the market. Those problems are nothing. If you love the car and its what you are looking for go for it. Fix those items right away, its a drop in the bucket compared to what your spending. Get a perfect car upon delivery and enjoy!

Yeah im really happy with the price. I don' think the dealer really knows what they have. It is also has an ECU chip upgrade and FVD exhaust. Im not totally up to speed with mod brands yet, just done enough research to know about the actual car, so im not sure how good the exhaust is.

Also anyone know what wheels these are?

They are too big apparently and are rubbing so I'll have to get new ones and sell these ones.

I think 44K for a 26,000 mile 02 996tt in really good condition is a steal. I would certainly have the dealer fix everything to your satisfaction before you sign anything. Have you ran the VIN # for accidents , etc.?

Make sure the wing isn't leaking. They may not have caught it and thought it was the switch.

I am still 6 months or so away from purchasing but I saw this car, just what I was looking for. Very nice and good deal if everything checks out. It is located in LA right (the state not the city)? Best of luck, be sure to have it checked for 2nd gear pop out and over rev count.
