I have the Europipe G2 quiet (recommended by both the tuner and Steph) on an X50 cab.

When it 1st arrived, I was a bit bummed about the note, but I was told to wait about 1k miles. Right around 700, it broke in, and now many are envious at track day, or me just grinning at WOT - it's a ROAR! The off-gas gurgle at 2500-1700 is the most beautiful sound in the world.

I can also clearly hear the turbos on the up and the down. Clear as a bell. I love this exhaust.

Also, made a custom cross-flow exhaust with solid 3" piping inside (no perforations) for a customer that wanted a truly loud exhaust with the cross-flow note. We can do this very easily for anyone interested. It would look like a muffled system, but internally, no muffling takes place. It's a stealthy straight pipe system.

 

Well I do have a fully stock system, so I understand it can't compete with the air cooled rumble. To both Mark and John, those both sound wonderful! Are both of those catless or do they have 100 or 200 cell cats? I've been down the catless road on other cars and don't want that again here in the people's republik of Kalifornia.

Nikolas, The exhaust in our video has our 100 cell hi-flow cats.

2muchtime, I would say "no", our cross-flow exhaust does not have a predominant gurgling and popping backpressure sound on decel. It's there a little, but is masked. I feel it has more of a refined, tuned sound - if you can imagine that...

 

That's a video of our original 70mm twin cannister system, not the X-cellerator cross-flow. Our 70mm conventional exhaust does provide more of a gurgle and popping sound and is still available for those interested in this type of system.
