I made you guys proud at the track last night. I raced a 10' Camaro SS, 08' Z06, Ford GT twice and a slightly modded 08' Z06 twice. The results will supprise most people:
I destroyed the 10' Camaro, tied the 08' Z06 who killed me off the start but I reeled him right in for the tie, Tied the Ford GT who had me on RT in the first race and beat me buy a bumper in the second (terrible start for me) and beat the 08' modded Z06 bad twice. So I was 3-1-2 on the night. The track was slow 12.1 was the beast time I saw all nght by an 08' Z06. Here are the ET's

My races with the GT were epic. My car was the talk of the track. By the way my best time for the night was better than the GTs best time.

On another note, the guy in the modded Z06 needs to learn how to drive his car at the strip. Those are the worst times I've ever heard of from a modded C6 Z.

That's a new trap speed record for a bone stock TT.

 

THe car is an x50 The time was from last year I don't have the slip but I may have the video.

 

Yes, I know it's an X50. "Bone stock TT" applies to X50 cars as well.

The video will work fine.

 

I've seen mush worse from modded C6Z's. In fact, many more worse than better. They are not easy to drive. Especially on half prepped tracks, which is what we get down here all the time. I would bet that's on par with the average in a Modded Z06.

 

Getting a good E.T. on the stock runflats is not easy, that's for sure. But you've seen guys trap lower than 117? That honestly shocks me.

I'm not the best driver, and even I trapped 126-127 in my car bone stock, on one of the worst tracks in this area (Richmond)..in hot, humid conditions. It made 445 on a dynojet, which is the norm.

I'm not doubting you at all, I'm just very surprised.

 

The modded 08' Z06 was definitely faster than me I just killed him on RT. I pulled some slips from last year most are from June and July when I first started going to the track and got the car. I can't find the ones from Oct. that is when I ran my best times.

all those were before I really knew what I was doing with bad 60' times mostly 2.3+ last night I hit 2.054. I called the friend with the video to confirm the times

 

No, but I've seen several modded ones trap 121-123 and run low-mid 12's. Something must have happened on that run, that's a shame. But I know guys that can really drive getting those trap speeds. You really don't have to be all that great of a driver to get a great trap speed.

The driver mod is always more apparent in Corvette's. Though I'm pretty sure that even the likes of Jamie/Ranger etc and those would not be trapping 128+ in stock Z's or running 11.1's at our tracks. If they do, and the car is stock I'd like to see them get in someone else's definitely stock car and do it (or at least come close).

My best time happened to be my 2nd run EVER at the strip with a 996tt. 12.5@118.1. Fully stock car/stock weight with just a EVO short shifter. I'm confident I could get low 11's with more time/passes.

 

Nice time fo a first run. My times got much better when I started running with the PSM on those slow times I was running with it off

 

You are so full of ****. My run of the mill 580whp H/I/C Z06 ran 11.2 @ 134 with a a lazy 2.1 60. Every modded vette I know runs with 5 mph of mine - and most in the 10's with 1.8 60's.
