996 GT3 Cup Brake Duct Install Question

996 GT3 Cup Brake Duct Install Question
I just installed the 996 GT3 Cup front brake ducts (the biggest ones 996.341.118.90 and 117.90) and wasn't sure about how to route the front of the duct. It seemed to want to go behind the duct work leading into it from the front (thereby moving the front of the duct more toward the center of the car), but the supplied plastic rivet and rivet hole toward the front of the duct make we want to force it inside and then rivet it to the inboard edge of the duct leading to the brake duct.
I picture is worth a thousand words, so here is how I installed it thus far, letting the front of the duct go inboard of the duct leading to the brake duct.
So, the question is, do I bend the front of the new larger brake duct so that it sits against the duct work leading into it or is the install correct as is?
Any guidence here would be appreciated.
Thanks,
-- Joe
