n2 should be the new an improved version. N1 would have been the first version of the tire.

N2 is a newer version which has undergone porsche certification....

I'm not sure "improved" has ever been proven... in fact there really is no unbiased source of advice on the whole N1<N2<N3 thing...tire dealers/companies seem to claim it is 'new and improved' to sell 'new and expensive' tires.... I view it as a sequential certification of a tire design, nothing more until proven.

So how is N3 "better"? Any data other than from people selling tires?

Better in that they can just rename their product with minimal changes to keep you paying top dollar with no real expensive new R/D behind the new tire.

This to me is like paying for textbooks in college when they always make you buy the new version at an ungodly price when it still essentially the same as the older version.

Lots of tires out there that provide similay performance and life as the PS2 at a fraction of the price.... just do your research before you buy.

i currently have the michelin ps2 305/30/19 in my rears and worried about chewing up my differential thats why i'm thinking of getting the right rear tire size(315/25/19) which cost a 1100 plus shipping. is there any cheaper tires that you guys can suggest. i'm trying to sell my rears and just make up the difference. i'm currently running michelin ps2 front (235/35/19). any suggestions for a different brand?
