I'm wanting to get 997 tt. I have a triple black 996 tt with over 100k miles on it. runs great, was my dd. no major problems. maybe 2 track days a year. did all the maintainance. Should i just keep it for parts? (or maybe mod the crap out of it for fun, lol), how much you think i could get on trade or sell outright?

100k tt cars are really hard to sell. 65-70k cars are a hard sell. Bids in the 27k range on ebay. You frankly might do better with the trade. Porsche can always make the numbers look better for you than the outright sale. They've got room with the profit margin in the 997tt that you'd have a hard time getting out of your current car. Shop it to them and see what they come up with. You may be surprised.

Send it to Protomotive or EVO and have them do a full build. Resale isnt going to be that high and why not keep enjoying it. Plus the 997.2 TT does not have the GT1 block that we get to enjoy in our 996s.

I'd go the lol way. Just keep away from the Lime green paint . Seriously though these engines are in a low state of tune, even the turbo. The 996 range as a rule is on the bottom of the price curve so imho I think you'll get better value out of playing with it than selling.

EVO has some info on their site: www.evoms.com. You will have to call to get specifics for your particular build. Ian can steer you in the correct direction.
