Boost Hose Clamps
#16
My hoses are also from Forge. The Samco hoses have the flanges fitted and positioned from factory with the kind of stainless steel band clamp that I am refering to. As a result, flange and hose go straight through the side firewalls and mate with the intercoolers (stock in my case) with two "click" sound if you get the securing pin on to the intercooler first. Now both tabs on the billet flange are secured.

No, I actually went back to stock hoses because the connector was right where the hose entered the firewall. All is well now and the car is holding the boost that I need. We will see at my next track day

I just happened to see today that my left upper stock hose is starting to slip out. Is the car still driveable should a hose pop off?

My Ics dont give me a problem>> I do use 3/8ths worm clamps... same as stock on the turbo to hoses connection...

It depends on the connection. I didn't get past the install before I removed them and put the stock ones back. I think I would get that sorted out or you will be throwing all sorts of codes.

Having the exact same issue here. While the kit initially appeared to be of good quality, there is no way it will fit on the car with the supplied hardware. Forge did add a longer fitting to get through the engine bay wall so you can clamp it from the inside of the bay, but they only included one of these! I guess I get to pick which side I'd rather have blow off under boost... I've tried retrofitting with 3/8" OEM style hose clamps but the head of the clamp still slams into the sheetmetal and starts to slide off the hose once the intercooler is bolted down...it's that tight in there.
For a car that's been around for 11 years, there's no excuse for fitment issues. Thumbs down. Maybe I can convince Forge to start including 2 of the longer couplers in the kit.

I had Agency Power hose with fitting not line up properly. So I had to cut the clamps and reposition the coupling. For clamp replacement I've found some on Ebay. "Mikalor" made in Italy. There are simply perfect. The delivery, from England, was really fast. That's the seller I used and the size I had to used was 59 to 63 mm. I took the W4 which are all in stainless including the bolt.
