I was bored this eve so I took a quick drive down to santana row to get some cafe and pastries. It was raining moderately. As I took the Sandhill to 280 onramp, I was in 3rd going about 55-60. One third way around the bend, the rear stepped out about 30 degrees on the wet stuff. I thought oh, this is interesting. My right foot was still holding constant pressure. I flicked the wheel slightly and the car kept it's arc around curve. I looked to my left and saw a car merging off 280 about 20 yards away. I thought I must be looking pretty precarious to the other driver with my tail out like that. I decided to tap the brake slightly, and guess what, the tail snapped back in line instantly, just in time for me to accelerate down the straight before the other car get next to me. Never before had I looked so good sliding in the wet, like the whole thing was intentional. Damn. What a car. The TT AWD with PSM Rocks on the road.

Porsche Drift team

Kirby, you have the drift thing down, but have to keep it going, keep your foot into it and not spin

This is what I want to do at our next track event....just a warning...

1. Start to drift
2. from the drift do a 180
3. Continue to drift
4. another 180
5. little more drifting
6. Recover and continue on my way blowing by everyone!!!!

How does that sound?

Sounds like.... a race...

If you would have put your foot back into it, you might have been able to pull off a schweeet 360

he's not spinning if he's drifting backwards after a 180. yes, he should nail the throttle as he drift backwards. it'll create a nice smoke screen. kirby, just make sure u do another 180 before your tires regain traction or you'll kiss Brian in the face.
